DPS tracking Serker vs Warlock

<DIV>Just wondering if this could possilby be right.   I have a lvl 30 Warlock playing in RoV fighting clays.  My friend is a lvl 32 Beserker.   He found a tool at <A href="http://www.combatstats.com/" target=_blank>http://www.combatstats.com/</A> for tracking dps.    He started posting the dps results.   In almost all fights it shows the serker out dpsing me.   On the clays it would show him doing about 3400 dps and me doing about 2800-3000dps.   In all fights I started nuking from the get go.     All my major spells are Adept III with the rest adept 1.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyone else seen similar stats?  Are Serkers doing as much dps as me as warlock?</DIV>

You mean 3400 damage not DPS (Damage Per Second). Zerks can put out major DPS but normally only in multi-mob ecounters. Combat Stats is one of the better parsers out there but something just doesn't seem right. I haven't grouped with many zerks but in my mid 20's to 30 I haven't had any class out DPS me that wasn't atleast 4 levels above me. Run the program on your system and log the fights. You might notice the oppisite. <div></div>

Even in non-grouped mob encounters seldom will a serker outdps you. Wizards are our brethren but they are a non-issue. A serker with as much str as Eukatae though does sometimes come close to my dps but nothing to freak out about because soon our int will add a little bonus to our dps:smileyhappy:</P>

<P>You need to download and run the parser yourself, then paste your real number to show your friend.  Casters (wisely) tend to stand a bit back from mobs once they get abused by barrage a few times in earlier levels.  Parsing is very much affected by your range from the fight, and your berserker friend is catching all his damage hits but not all of yours.  </P> <P>Either that, or nuke more <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P> <P> </P>
