Which spells are most important?

<DIV>I just hit lv 20 and am prob going to go ahead and buy 4 adept IIIs for my T3 spell line... I know Dark Distortion is one of the picks (heard it is the warlock changing spell) what other spells in your opinion should I be buying and using my jasper for? thanks!!</DIV>

Summon Shadows is very important, it's one of my favorite spells.  Get it at Adept I or higher and you can run all over a tough zone without a care. <div></div>

<P>Don't upgrade dark destortion more than Adept 1, take BBS at level (30 I think), it's an adept II level, with a life tap, great spell I still use at 46.</P> <P> </P>

Steal Breath is a good one to upgrade. I also upgraded Flashfreeze. I didnt upgrade DD above adept 1, save your money and wait for level 30. <div></div>

If you can only pick 4, skip Dark Pact and Suffocating. Invite Void has a significantly better conversion ratio at Adept 3, and cannibalizing is one of your core abilities in long fights. Steal Breath, DD, Flashfreeze are your hardcore offensive spells, and all of them are improved by going Adept 3.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Suffocating will still be your 3rd nuke (after BSS and Noxious Bolt) until lev 37, and will still be your 4th nuke, used in most fights, until lev 43. <DIV>I have adept 3 DD I have on a jasper i harvested didnt waste the cash and I will tell you works wonders when grouped with other warlocks alot more damage then the adept 1 version of it and I let the other warlocks use BSS since most do not have it adept 3. Only ones i see upgrading to adept 3 tier 3 is DD, flashfreeze, and steal breath.</DIV>

If you get in a group and it has a couple warlocks BSS will not stack so having DD at adept3 is a very good Idea.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Like you the only 3 I would upgrade would be DD, Flashfreeze and the one I would really recommend is Steal Breath. The other nice thing about DD ad3 over BSS is that it lacks a dot portion, it's just a nuke. It can be important once you get bony grasp and you're out there soloing *ahem* tough mobs, and you have to root with FM between BG charges. FM can break if you have a dot on, and there's no way to cancel the dot portion of BSS once you cast it. <div></div>
