<P>our level 20 spell (which I also just got a few days ago) is a great group DD spell.  At adept 1 I hit for about 70 damage each mob.  Not bad, but our single DD's are much better damage wise on a single mob.</P> <P>-X-</P>

<DIV>Dont even compare Ice Spike to Negative Absolution.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Ice spike is a single hitting spell, negative absolution hits the whole group.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If you want a cool robe at that level I would say Pristine Tailored Canvas Blouse, although not as much power as the Oracle Robe, it looks VERY cool, especially with the hood up. That staff should last you till level 30, then you should think about getting a 1handed wand and a symbol combo for better combined stats.</DIV>

<P>I completee the artifact quest in Stormhold and got the Orb of the Fallen for the secondary slot.  Then purchased a pristine carbonite ritual dagger for about 1 gold.  This combination works great.  Still using them at level 28 (though they both just turned blue and I am looking to upgrade).   With the proposed changes coming, you might want to start looking for +INT items.</P> <P>I gave up and bought the Oracle Robe on the broker for 2 gold.  I tried to solo to get to RoV room at level 21, 22 and 23 and died each time and could not find a group that would take a low 20's level player.  At that time there were not a lot of RoV groups on my server.  Now there seem to be a few more.  I intend to see if I can get the robe quest and get another "copy" of the robe and sell it back on the broker (probably at a loss, but it has been good).  At level 28 it has turned blue also and I am starting to think about what to do next.</P> <P>Upgrade as many of your 20's level spells to Adept 1 as you can afford and DD (level 23) and Steal Breath (level 27) to Adept 3 if you can afford it or get lucky and find a rare.  I actually sold my only coral for 10 gold and bought the above equipement and most of the spells at Adept 1 up to level 25.  So far, I have been happy with that decision.  Start checking the board for spells that will be coming up.  You can occasionally find good deals and will have spell upgrades waiting for you in the bank.</P> <P>Making money will become easier as you level up.  The MOB drops sell for more, chest drops are more desirable to PC's on the broker and it is easier to harvest items the crafters want (in TS, etc).  Take the time to get 2 large strongboxes in your house vault and try to keep them full with stuff to sell.  I have generated 75% (I have made almost a 1 plat total) of my total funds since I hit level 20.  It took me a while to figure out how to make money, and the offline selling has been a boon to me.</P> <P>Also, hangout in Stormhold in the Chessboard Room.  There are a ton of "?" there.  These ususally sell well.  You can make up a few gold per night just collecting these.</P> <P>Hope these suggestions help.  I am by no means a master warlock player and still make tons of mistakes, but I am having a blast with this character.</P>

<P>Thanks so much!!</P> <P>this was a really helpful reply.  I just took my 23 slot box (got it at a steal of 1G) and put it in my room vault.  I didnt even know I had a vault until last night LOL.  I put a bunch of T2 raws in it and a lot of things I have looted and got as drops soloing with my Necro in Nek and the common lands.  I made it across the TS to antonica last night and am working on raising my gathering and fishing to sell raws.  I am fighting mobs as well to get teh drops from them.  All this will be used as an adjunct to level up my warlock spells.</P> <P>I enjoy the master of nuke and poison much more than my Necromancer.</P>
