<DIV>Is it just me or do mobs really hate warlocks?  I've pulled agro from a tank even when there was a wizard two levels my senior in the party.  Eleven times, I have gotten the mobs from a charging warrior when all I did was buff them.  And many more times, warriors can't pull them off me when they do agro on me.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I atribute it to all the side-effects of our spells, putrid cloud's stun, etc.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Not to say that this hapens a lot, but it happens more to me than most other people.  </DIV>

Group buffs tend to draw aggro, Warlocks draw aggro mroe then wizards do.

<DIV>thanks for confirming I'm not paranoid.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now onto the most annoying thing.  Buffs pulling agg.  This is ridiculous.  My friends have noticed it and we've agreed it is the strongest agg one can possibly put, period.  You have no idea how ludicrous it was at first and then it happened 5 more times in a row.  I told our tank that we were ready mid-cast of the final buff and he taunts the mob.  the mob runs toward the tank and when the spell is cast it goes to me.  Not even when I break 400 on initial contact do I pull the agro on me that fast or consistently.  </DIV>

Our "make enemy spell interupt"-kinda spells seems is something I never use because of the hate it creates

<DIV>Hate to burst your bubble, but in actuality, we get far <U>less </U>aggro than wizards... thats a fact. You can't buff during a pull though.. that's asking for trouble. When a tank pulls I'll start with something light like a couple DOTs and then when I'm sure he's taunted after the pull i'll set in with my big DDs. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Buff the tank and the group before the fight or after the tank has established aggro in a fight.</DIV>

<DIV>Sometimes even waiting for a while won't work on some spells, like the stifle line that was mentioned. Last night we fought a 2up named who was a caster. I waited for a time to get the tank to establish aggro before debuffing or nuking as I certainly didn't want to tank a 2up yellow named to me. Well, right after I cast tongue twist to stifle the mob while casting nullification (short stifle with lowering their casting level), the named went straight for me. The mob stayed on me for the rest of the fight and could not in any way be dragged off of me, I'm so thankful for the good healers who kept me alive.  =)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It's just incredible for one spell to draw that much hate after it's been established by a tank. And this is not a freak occurance - this spell has drawn aggro before; so as it's been mentioned by one of the other posters, I'm gonna stay away from this highly helpful spell line unless I'm soloing casters.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Fidelio</DIV> <DIV>Befallen</DIV>

<DIV>The stifle line is a high-aggro spell as well as it should be. The risk vs reward on stifle if pretty high. I suggest a poor-man's stifle (stun) early in the fight and then come back with your Tongue Twist variant after the stun affect has waned.</DIV>
