<DIV>Ever since the recent downtime on Friday the two dot spells Freezing Whorl and Steal Breath are no longer stacking. You can cast Incinerate and Freezing Whorl or Incinerate and Steal Breath but not Freezing Whorl and Steal Breath together or all 3 together anymore. The icon shows up in the maintained spell box but there is no damage being reported in chat text. This has to be a bug because it would be completely ridiculous if it was intended. The 2 spells are not of the same type of elemental damage or offer the same debuffs so they should be able to stack fine and have been stacking fine up until Saturday. I have tried it out on several different mobs that it worked fine on before the downtime and it has nothing to do with resists or anything like that. SOE please look into this as soon as possible. thanks</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Xander</DIV> <DIV>33 Warlock</DIV> <DIV>Kithicor</DIV>

<DIV>It seemed like there were stacking last night for me.  I'll double check to make sure though.</DIV>

<DIV>Narenek, I bet it isn't stacking.  Both icons show up but ONLY one damage will show.  I talked several Warlocks about this last night and it all happend to them so you can't be the only one working.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Solan Swiftfist on <span class=date_text>12-21-2004</span> <span class=time_text>07:59 AM</span>

<DIV>No, they don't stack.  I got Steel breath last night and added it as my third dot.  Whorl, Incinerate, and then SB.  As the ticks go by from round 2 (because round 1, sure each spell will hit) and on, only Incinerate and SB tick.  Whorl has been overwritten.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Sucks...But hey, brite side ->  SB does 50+ a tick.  /drool</DIV>

<DIV><A href="http://eq2.stratics.com" target=_blank>http://eq2.stratics.com</A>  Is reporting that they are aware of the DOT issue and are working on a fix for it, but that it will be a while yet.  I looked through Moorgard's post here though, but couldn't find where he made it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>-------------</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><EM>Yes, we know about the stacking issues with DoTs and such. As such we've been giving extra time off to the members of our team, so our staff is somewhat light right now. <DIV>Good find.  I can live with Moorgard's answer for the time being.</DIV>

I agree with him about the priorities and such, but the line about we (the customers) have to understand that SOE over-worked it's developer staff to rush the game out ahead of WoW, is just priceless. <DIV></FONT></DIV>

I understand the problem, but I also understand that I still pay the same monthly amount to play my Warlock as do other classes that are functioning better <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  Its not a huge deal, but still a pain.  Also since some of the DoTs are actually stacking while others aren't, you know that there is some configuration out there that allows for it.<BR>

<DIV>yeah i noticed last night, icons are stacking but the damage isnt. The debuff part still appears to be working though as i tend to get higher nukes with it on than off.. might be why the icon still appears</DIV>
