Frigid Gift Question

Reread the description, it says it only procs on non-heat and non-physical spells.

Ya description at the bottom can be a bit misleading, seems to work well for non-wizzys.Rarely use unless have to 2+ non-wizzy casters in group.<div></div>

I try to always cast this before IN.I also cast it +FH + Catalyst to take down some groups faster.I also will cast it + the ice snare for a little extra PBAE damage.

I always use it on multi-mob encounters before I toss off glacial winds and electrfying flash.  If you're somewhere where you're fighting 4 or more things in a pull it's pretty fun to watch all the numbers pop up on your screen. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

In a herioc instance i normally only use it prior to groups of 3 or more, however in raids it is always the first spell i cast since you can get up to 4 or 5 procs out of the spell , but the other group members can get a lot more the ill can get like 8 or more procs form frigid gifts and have had a ill and his pet got 16 out of one casting of it.  I never really used the spell then did some testing of my adept 1 version on some raids, on single targets it would do roughly 3-4k damage from my group and against mulitble mob encounters it was good for 10k or more depending on the amount of mobs in the encounter.

<P><BR>if you have classes that cast fast such as conj/nec illusionist/coercer</P> <P>or tanks that taunt (all tanks but not always on raids) or use spells (paly / sk) they will proc frigid gift.  healer's debuffing will too.</P> <P>Its typically the first thing I cast if its up.</P> <P>I've seen an illusionist with perpetuality on a 3 mob epic group spike to 1700 dps with frigid gift up.  it makes that big a difference.<BR></P>
