<DIV>Ok I have rolled mages back in the glory days of everquest 1 and loved it but now im wanting to try something a little differant. I read wizards were getting ports back so that deffinatly caught my eye. What race would benefit my wizzy well? I would also like to know what is a good trade skill to make money? Atleast enough to help me upgrade and help my groups, but nothing that costs to much money in the from the start. I am also wondering can you manage there hate if your good? And if I cannot get into a group will I be able to solo when I need to? </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I know its alot of questions but I appreciate any answers everyone can give me thank you.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Lovorian on <span class=date_text>11-12-2006</span> <span class=time_text>03:06 PM</span>

I would say wizards are one the best solo classes once you get into the higher levels.

<DIV>Erudite is best for off the start becuase they start with 30 INT points. But in the end it doesnt matter that much. As far as money goes I would roll a jeweler they make good money. if you wanted to benefit yourself most i would do a sage. making your own spells is killer. upgrades for wiz spells are HUGE. alchy's are a good class also. 45 points to INT at lvl 50 is pretty nice and thats a common potion rares are better. hate gain is definately gonna happen but its easy to manage if you no how to play your class. soloing is extremely easy once u get ice comet. once i got ice comet i could solo ^^^ heroic stuff the same lvl as me. group roots are really nice once u hit 45. (not sure on group root lvl). wiz can take on just about anything 1-3 lvls ahead of u if you have good spells. if u have Apprentice spells you can take on stuff your lvl and lower. spells are real important. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>hope it helps</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<P>As far as tradeskill, provisioners can't make squat...not on my server, anyway.</P> <P>In my limited experience, tailors and sages seem to make the most money.</P>

<DIV>In my exp as a sage, we don't make squat. Provisioners make bank on my server... they make consumables, meaning you have repeat customers over and over.</DIV>

Sages don't really make money off of app 4s unless its a new server or to new people or to farmers.I was the top sage on Venekor the first couple months when it opened.Recently I unloaded at least 40g worth of ap4s sitting in my crates unsold for several months. I would get a sale here and there each month so it wasn't worth it.The only real sales are in adept 3s.Erudites have Aura Vison which lets you see what is a caster and what is a healer. I hope they don't remove this in the upcoming racial traits revamp.
