There IS going to be new armor, new AA's, Armor set bonuses, new ways to augment your gear. As a whole the change is a good move. Because right now any piece of gear with 20 int and one with 30 int is completely worthless, with the new changes there will be *some* benefit again to getting gear with higher int on it, instead of looking for the next piece of procc'ing gear to make an item useful.

I also see more wizards running around now than ever. Frankly I dont like it.

I agree many wizards accept the fact that since we wear paper armor, we SHOULD die in 1 maybe 2 shots if we are lucky. Thats A pitfall of the class. No one wanted to last longer in a raid, just more ways to do damage. I dont think SOE will ever get this point, nor will they seem to care. After 2 years you just get used to it.

Most of my raid gear came out of labs, its a great starter zone, it sounds like you have back luck with rolls or dont raid with a guild that uses NBG or DKP systems if all you have is a relic vest to show for it.

I've picked up relic hat, pants, draco gloves and cuffs, out of labs and I'm hoping that the grand draco hat will drop some day(hasn't yet for the past 3 months). Just keep at it the rewards are there and waiting.

I'm pretty anxious for the expansion. Sure there are some nerfs, but there are also bonuses such as tinkering, new AAs, etc. How the new cap system affects us remains to be seen, and I always wait until after playing it a week or so before I can form an opinion. Everyone hated LU13 at first, it just takes a little time to adapt to the changes and in the long run it benefits the game, its the same with most all MMOs.

I don't really see the problem. You have a new slot, I also heard about new gems (or things like that) to increase your own stuff, then with a little work, you'll be at good intelligence soon.

I did not say we are not tier 1 dps. I just of the mind set that think some other classes have easier time doing dps and have mor mit, mor avoidance, mor healh, mor deagro spells and mor a of a agro transfer spell. I think mages should be in their own tier.

I lucky enuf to be able to be at the top of the dps zone parse most the time. But i have to work hard to be there and not to die more than 10 times. While the 2nd dps only dies when the raid whipes. If they do get agro they have their health, mit, avoidance and more degro spells. I just have the floor.

We do not always have the right classes and perfect groups for a raid.
With the new changes we will find it harder to compete as they will make the raids harder to make it challenging for the guilds that can.

But what can we do.

IT love the new sig.. its is great
