<div></div>Hi all, Quick question in regards to peoples experiences with the drop rate of X'havis Gown of Glory from Chamberlain X'havis.I have now done 7 or 8 runs in the last 2 weeks and it has dropped every other flippin piece that he has to offer, legendary chest after legendary chest. From the other people I have spoken to they didn't seem to have too many problems acquiring this robe, 2 or 3 runs at the worst.Am I just having crappy luck or have some people also had to farm the instance within an inch of insanity ?Another question I pose is whether there is any relationship between a master chest dropping off another named in the zone, and then the fabled chest dropping from X'havis. For example:Cleared zone up to the lift last night, pulled the named by the lift, forget his name 'Kettle' something and he drops a master chest, great, or is it ? Does the fact that this named drops a master chest in any way affect X'havis likelyhood of dropping master/fabled chest, and ultimately the robe ? Or are they completely independant ?Also I remember reading somewhere but I think this may only apply to Epic mobs, if say for example your taking on X'havis and you wipe, does the chance of the Master/Fabled chest then drop ?Sorry for all the questions but would be good to find out whats what.<div></div><p>Message Edited by Wilko1981 on <span class=date_text>10-18-2006</span> <span class=time_text>08:56 AM</span>

You just have bad luck. I got mine the first time through, another mage in my guild just got his last week after probably more than 50 runs through. Keep at it, you';ll get it eventually.<div></div>

<DIV>I looked at the info on the gown of glory and I'm just not seeing it as a great item. The int stats and resists are lower then other items and the proc seems sort of pointless. Why do I need a damage prevention proc as a wizzy? I would want a power proc, hate reduction proc, or additional damage proc, not a ward. Am I missing something here or is it just that it says "Fabled" makes everyone want it?</DIV>

<DIV>I see the powe proc now. 15% chance of 3-5 power? Or does it restore 3-5 power per second for the duration of the damage ward? 3-5 power 15% of the time is completely worthless.</DIV>

<div></div><div></div><div></div>you're seeing a shot of it by someone who can't wear it i think. check it out here<a href="http://www.eq2idb.com/item_details.php?item=LTE5NzI4ODY3NDY=" target="_blank"> http://www.eq2idb.com/item_details.php?item=LTE5NzI4ODY3NDY=</a>the power proc is actually 15% for 90-135pwr. As far as I know, its about as good as you can get for a power proc'ing robe. Which is why nearly every wizard you see wears it.<div></div><p>Message Edited by sparql on <span class=date_text>10-18-2006</span> <span class=time_text>10:40 AM</span>

While it IS an awesome robe, I still prefer the Raiment of the Skywatcher personally, especially if I dont have a few agro reduction classes in my group on raids. In PvP it is amazing now that the proc was fixed for PvP to clear your target's target when it procs, which is more useful than a small ward and power proc. Just my 2cp.<div></div>

<P>One more question on the gown. It looks to me (based on indentation in the proc description) that the 90-135 power proc is lumped into the damage ward proc. Does this mean it can only proc once every 2.5 minutes? Or, does the power proc have a 15% chance on each spell and could technically fire 10 times in 1 minute?</P> <P> </P> <P> </P>

It's a 15% chance to proc reguardless of the ward being up already, and it simply refreshes the ward back to 350. If you proc the robe, get hit for 150 points of damage (which your ward will absord leaving 200 points left) and you proc it again, the ward refreshes to 350 and you get more power.<div></div>

I've done that instance more than 30 times. I got 2 robes myself, one that I wear and the other as back up. I've seen drop for a total of 4 times. Yeah it's just luck is all....I might have ate it hehe. The robe roxxors cause it has that power proc which goes off frequalty plus it has a ward proc too. Soemone a while ago caluclated the power proc is like Flow Thought 18 but don't quote me on that. Easiley one of the best robes in the game....too bad I hate the color <span>:smileymad:</span> <div></div>

Wow... For a while I thought there was absolutely no rarity to that robe at all, since it dropped my first three times in the nest like clockwork (basically thought that if you kill him, you get the robe, period). My last run (#4) it didn't drop, so that is when I realized that it wasn't "automatic", lol.

I flip back and forth between the Nest robe and the Raiment of the skywatcher on my mage...got a question on the nest robe....looted it on my monk last night(maybe I should ask on monk forums) busted it out last night..and never saw the proc firing off ripping through all my CA's. I'll try again tonight and see whats going on.....I see the proc all the time on my Sorcerer<img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Right on...I understand now<img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Mana being an issue with my Monk it would be cool if it did proc. I suppose they enabled Monks/Bruisers to loot this cause they want me to wear it while tanking.
