I do not. I only use different gear for resist purposes in certain zones or against specific mobs.

The rare occasions i solo or when i am tanking the nest i use the Enspelled Vultak Eye, the Gown of glory for the ward procs, and Godking weapon for heals. I would also use any + defense gear i can find for a couple more % points of avoidance (couple of these are from the Claymore quest line). I have gotten my avoidance to like 50% which aint too shabby.Long fights such as cheldrak, or any raid that goes longer than a couple minutes i will use the Necromantic Orb of the Death Reveler for the +power proc.Other than that, i will only switch for resists to not get killed by aoes.Daenarys70 WarlockMob SquadKithicor

I have the same thing like others but in my opinion our gear didn't make that much of dif in dps except max out int but more like to survive from AE but it's also considered as addtition to dps cuz we're staying alive. However, figher and scout class armor are clearly additional to their dps on top of spell quality.

If fully fabled out with ft, it's surely increased dps in general, but comparing to others, even legendary with good stats can increase dps.

However, resist gear for wiz is the key for wiz to stay alive to continue dps and power gear to extend dps.

PS: is there a way to respec after I respec? cuz I want to choose power trait over regen trait.

After you've maxxed out int, items with procs are the only real way to increase dps and they do help quite a bit.Full dps gear, all proc items and a fair bit of my ft. (Standard rig raid and group)Regen gear for those long fightsResist gear for specific fights only.
