my g/f's master fusion's highest hit was around 23k, but hit 3 mobs.  that was about 2 weeks ago. also this other wiz in the guild has a master I ice nova that's been hitting 24k ish.. gotta say i'm sad with that since my decapitate doesn't hit much more than that, with 10x the reuse. <div></div>

I have, in raid, an average of 20/21 K (because I allways fail some crit one). And that's pretty decent damages. Max around 27K, more is very rare and must be very lucky.<div></div>

Hit 27563 with M1 Fusion crit and Freehand the other day on some trash in Lab of Lord Vyemm.  I then sent a tell to the MT saying I was very disappointed in him for holding agro so well that I didn't even get the mob's attention.

I've got 25k IN and 27k+ fusions, could probably have been higher but people like to slack on debuffs unless i shout at them.me: "why wasn't x boss debuffed?"them: "We did debuff that mob!"me: "then why did my nova hit for less than 12k?"them: "well...."me: "it is mathematically impossible to hit for one that low if even a significant number are applied, let alone all"*them: *suddenly mobs start getting debuff again, till the next time"<div></div>*freehand and cat

<font size="4">We take one brig (sometimes two), and if I'm lucky, our troub will come.  First thing I do is hit that hex doll (T7, INT one) before the pull,  so it'll go off about 1-2 sec after pull  (This scenerio assumes it's a single mob, my strat differs for multi's).  Then rending icicles.  I'll give our mt some time to establish aggro while I cast flame surge, Incinerate, BoL, and Incapacitate.  By that time the brigs are calling Dispatch.  I refresh rending icicles and cast catalyst.  Run into position next to the scouts behind the mob, cast freehand and then fusion.   It's over.  24-29K  hits pretty consistantly.  My max is 29.6K.   Multiple encounters I handle differently.  Pull starts the same with my hex doll on one unlucky  fool.  Then  Frigid Gift, Iceshield on mt.  Glacial Winds followed by Flame Surge and Forge of Ro.  Then our AoE fire spell that I cant remember the name of atm  (I am lucky our mt is a decked out zerker, and I always get amends from a pally) Rinse and repeat Glacial winds, our true AoE fire spell and single target nukes (BoL, Incapacitate)  making sure rending icicles is always refreshed.  Then, I dunno,  you kinda just gotta have that "feeling" (or should I say Hope) that aggro is solidified, line the mobs up, and let loose with cata+FS   and Fusion.  Then pray  <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  Also, always cast Ice Nova within 15 sec of Fusion, so it's up and refreshed for another cata + FS.  My Nova's only adept 3  <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  so my max with that is a mere 24K.  The best advice I can give you is simply practice.  Fusion is indeed the envy of every other class, but it is most deffinately a skill that has to be mastered.    Soloing I root, INT hex doll, root, rending icicles, cata+fs fusion.    I can still do around 20K solo to the chumps in SoS.   Of course getting up close enough to cast is dangerous and you'll prolly take a hit, but, meh.  We're wizards.  This is what we do  <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />       Hope this helps ya.</font><div></div>

off topic but goes with the title.. does anyone else think that Fusion Master I drops a little bit too often for how good a spell it is? <div></div>

heh well if you're in a raiding guild it drops a ton... i've seen 4 drop so far, 3 in 3 days in a row.  one from deathtoll, then one from labs, then one from lyceum. <div></div>

Just random, since KoS came out our guild that raids several days a week has only seen two or three wizard masters drop (fusion wasn't one). However since July or so there seem to be a few on the broker constantly, could be due to the influx of plat farmers camping for nameds though.

don't forget it is not a very high spell, then not very rare, and drop in diferent zones.70 ones are much much much rarer !All the mages I know have m1 fusion, none have IN.<div></div>
