<DIV>1. Where does the ancient teaching scroll drop for this?</DIV> <DIV>2. The description says everyone in the area of affect takes damage. Does it really mean just creatures? (I assume your group members don't take damage!)</DIV> <DIV>3. And, is at an out of encounter AOE ? (Assume so right?)</DIV> <DIV>Thanks!</DIV>

<DIV>It is a level 55 spell, so the scrolls drop in DOF/POF mostly off mobs of appropriate level.  The goblins and orcs are good for dropping these, I never seemed to get much luck with harpies for recipes.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Friends will not be hurt, and it is capped to 8 mobs, similar to the other PBAOE/AOE spells.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It will cause damage to any non-friendly mob, whether part of the encounter or not--both a good and a bad thing.</DIV>

The one issue that you have to be careful with Forge of Ro is that it will wake up any Mezed mob in its range no matter how it was Mezed.  It also has approx 1k debuff to heat damage to all mobs that it hits.<div></div>

While we're on the topic, where have people seen the M1 version dropping at?<div></div>

the master will drop anywhere adepts of the same level drop. Instances such as Cazels, Ancients Table, Scornfeathers, Poets Palace, nameds in Living Tombs, Silent City, etc are where the masters will drop most likely. I don't recall which instance dropped my M1, but I doubt it matters either.

I didn't think ancient teachings spells ever dropped off mobs? Only M1s? not adepts?

Where does the Forge of Ro generates go?  To the "pet" or to the caster?  The spell description says it's a pet so it should go to the pet.<div></div>

Agro from Forge goes to its self, until it dies and then it is transfered to the caster.  Atleast thats how most 'dumb fire' pets work.<div></div>

That is no longer true, LU23 or 24 changed it so that agro generated by Forge of Ro goes directly to the caster. This can be easily seen by dropping it while standing on top of a grey mob, the mob will attack you, not the forge.

I was in vaults the other night and a mob killed my Forge of Ro.  Why would it do that unless it has some aggro?<div></div>

AoEs, damage shields, spell reflections, or memwipes can all cause it to die.

Well SOE needs to make up their [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] minds!! This is bull [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] in it's finest! They are treating it like a DoT now... and the pet type was a much better spell (but, according to them, "was overpowered", yet only God knows how in the hell it was!), yet it can DIE?? How in the hell can a DoT die?? It is either a PET or it is a DoT... Pick one SOE!

Ya sucks when it dies. In my experience it is very rare though. It may actually be immune to normal aoes, I just included it in that list since it might be a possiblity. I think when I've had it die was due to a damage shield, don't recall exactly though since I've only had it die a few times.
