- maybe start crafting and sell the products? or maybe become a sage and craft spellupgrades your own- maybe start harvesting and sell the rare items- maybe start collection ? - they're often very good money- killing mobs and selling loot is always possible too...

Farming is boring, mmkay? :smileytongue:

Suggestion one: go into your display options, into Particle Effects, crank up the two 'particle level of detail' sliders to max, and wander around your zone of choice in 3rd person mode picking up sparkly ? collectibles. Sell them. Retire rich. Most zones will work OK for this, but Commonlands (particularly around the druid rings) and Antonica are good for scuffed shards and cracked bones; Ruins of Varsoon is OK for beetles; Stormhold is OK for weathered bones; Bonemire is dangerous, but good for various KOS collections. Which sells best will depend on your server, but a few hours of gathering sparklies per week should mean you you can soon retire rich.

Suggestion two: go harvesting. Doesn't matter what tier, in fact, lower may even be better since there's more rares in lower tiers. Run around the tier 1 zones or Commonlands/Antonica harvesting everything in sight. Sell it, matching the lowest broker price. Repeat till rich. Works well if combined with suggestion one.

Suggestion three: take up a craft. You don't even have to get to level 10 crafting, just go around harvesting tier 1 rares and then make them into adept III's. Pet spells tend to sell well. You can buy the 1-9 advanced books from the guy outside the crafting instance. If you carry on long enough to get to 10, you might consider tailoring. On my server anyway, sisal root (T2 rare root) is selling for about 6g, but the roughspun hex dolls made out of it are selling for 9-12g. That's 3-5g profit per doll that sells. This does vary between servers so check your own broker for local variations. There will likely be a profit margin on other rare crafted items too but roots tend to be one of the cheapest to purchase, meaning minimal initial investment.

Suggestion four: head to the Sinking Sands, head up the narrow path between the cliffs that leads up to the inner desert. On the left near the top of the path you'll see a little female gnome. Hail her and she'll give you a quest to herd skittish scarab beetles. You can get this quest at any level, and it requires no combat at all. Just chase the beetles till the spiders kill them, collect the shells and return to her. You can repeat this quest about 8 times and it gives a few gold each time. Not going to make you rich alone, but hey, it's kind of fun.
