You could start doing some of the solo quests in the Feerrott -- there's a small camp of NPCs there who all give out little quest series, plus a hungry ratonga called Reza who needs help getting some rations.  If you finish the quests before they go blue to you, you should get very good XP and some coin too.  You may also find a few soloable groups around the Feerrott that'll be good to solo.  Splitpaw is of course always a fall-back solo area, since it scales to your level; even if you don't have that Adventure Pack, you can still go into the terraporter instance and there's lots of soloable groups in there.

Theres so much content for tier 5 you should be able to blow thru the next few levels.  You've got solo mobs to choose from in Feerrott,Everfrost, Lava Storm, Rivervale, Runnyeye, Sol, Permafrost, Obelisk, etc and we wizzys can solo a lot of the content  Also even though we are single target specialists we also do well against multi encounter mobs.  Several posts on how to handle them starting with the sticky at the top.  My wiz leveled mostly on yelllow con single <b>and</b> yellow con multi mobs.Duffus lvl 70 wizDuufuss lvl 70 PallyEverfrost<div></div>

I agree with the above poster the feerrott questline gives great xp and some nice shoulders... but when you turn 45is you can go on up to dof and start hte faction quests which give good coin and xp.

When I skilled my wizard I recognized that the key to success in soloing is just the two bind spells. Basically you can fight everything with those spells upgraded to Ad3 or M1, and just to be safe make sure that you have a straight line to walk backwards in case a bind spell got resisted (earliest problems in maneuvering will be in KoS imo.<div></div>
