Spellshifting

Is there any T7 raiding wizards around there that has Spellshifting and finds it worthwhile?Any possible experiences you could share with the use of this ability would be welcome.<div></div>

<div></div>Yah, I picked Sagacity instead of Spellshifting (recast), so curious how much of a difference I'd see with faster recast. Slowly but steadily getting to a place where I can unleash more DPS without bouncing aggro, and still also retain power throughout the fights as long as they don't span too long.The setup I would want then would be to get 4,4,4,8,8 in AGI and 4,5,4,8 in WIS.<div></div><p>Message Edited by Jezekiell on <span class=date_text>09-14-2006</span> <span class=time_text>01:28 AM</span>

<div><blockquote><hr>Jezekiell wrote:<div></div>The setup I would want then would be to get 4,4,4,8,8 in AGI and 4,5,4,8 in WIS.<div></div><hr></blockquote>That's the setup I think I'm going to shoot for as well, though I think I'd put my extra point in the ward instead of freehand sorcery since I play on pvp.  Another consideration for me is the 700 extra mitigation to help me last longer in pvp battles, but that 8% passive increase to spells across the board is hard to overlook, not to mention a constant ward.  Another thing of note pertaining to pvp is Ambidexterous Casting being one of the coolest [Removed for Content] abilities around...being able to root another mage, run up to start casting Ice Comet, seeing him start to cast as well and then interrupting him with a quick stab to the face, all while still casting Comet is priceless...it definately turns the tide in many battles <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  Now I just have to get off my lazy [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] and work on getting faction with one of the cities to respec away from Catalyst...that spell is not all that in pvp...inflicting 600 damage on yourself only to have the next 2 casts of something get resisted = not good...</div>

My setup looks like   agi 4,4,4,5,1    wis 4,8,4,8 It can make the difference of casting 2 ice nova's in a fight instead of 1, more BoL's, vital conversion's etc.... I consider it my flatter damage but still good dps build <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  I don't necessarily always have the best deagro setup in a raid to be able to survive very high spike damage you get using a str build. <div></div>

<DIV>i am speced for spellshifting and i find it is a great asset as it stacks with most recast abilities like jesters cap. the real boon of the agi line is spell haste though. that is absolutely priceless in pvp.</DIV>

DT is fine too, any DT/HoS/LoA/labs you have is good. Just want to compare your position in the zone wide DPS to other classes, and my own to same classes in my raid. To try and get an idea of the difference I'll gain by having spellshifting.<div></div>
