I am going to betray qeynos when I find the time in order to get the nightmare horse, because let's be honest, the nightmare horse is so much cooler than the mistrunner. But my few questions are: when I betray, I can either stay as a wizard or become a warlock, correct? and second, can I betray back to qeynos once I have the nightmare horse, or is it side specific like the mistrunner? Thanks for all the help

I think, however, that the nightmare horse is tied somehow to alignment. You might find that if you buy one and betray back to Qeynos, you would not be able to ride it any more. I'm not 100% certain on this one, but I do remember reading somewhere that suggested there was something like this in place.

level 40 guild horses (nightmare and mistrunner) are tied to which city you are in currently. therefore you cannot betrey, buy a nightmare, betrey back to qeynos and still use the horse. it has "if citizen of Freeport" as a requirement for casting it.

I did it with my illusionist -- betrayed to Freeport, decided I didn't like being a coercer, betrayed back. If I change my mind again, I can do it all over again and again.
