It is difficult to max your INT till you hit roughly level 40.  Don't worry about maxing it, just get as much as you can.<div></div>

The tier 2 hex dolls for your charm slot are +9 int a piece.  They are pretty cheap to get as well and will last a long time.  As far as Treadeskilling goes... it all depends on what you want out of your Tradeskill.  I have never regretted going down the alchemist path but after the recent tradeskill revamp you may not find alot of utility out of Alchemy for your wiz til tier 4 (30 -40).  Dont worry so much about getting max int at your low lvls.  Other stats on items are important as well, resists +health/power and stats are good to have.  I usually prioritize by INT, resists, +power, +STA when looking at items to get.-Acelia 70 Wizard / 70 Alchemist of Nektulos Server<div></div>

Until you reach your cap (lvl x 7 +20) the general rule would be to acquire the intel item. Intel affects both your power pool and the damage from each spell, the more the better.  Dont forget about potions that increase your intel.  If you go with sage you will be able to make your own Adept 3 spells (as previous posters stated you will find Masters rarer and much more costly as you level) as well as priest spells. IMO sage is the easiest of all tradeskills to level up with a massive amount of discovery bonuses for the spells of two different classes, as well as comparitively easy crafting component requirements. I've been at int cap for most of my gameplay time (currently 35 was at int cap since oh... 16/17 or so i think.) The main thing is to just [Removed for Content] the broker and buy as much gear as you can. I also picked up a M1 of our self int buff that helped a lot. My current gear is on eq2players.com char name is Nastharl/Nekultos server.<div></div>
