As we two classes solely rely on our power pools without pets or weapons, I think SOE has really stabbed us in the back on this. I'd like all of us to speak up against making this go live. As it's written it will reduce the bonuses we get post 60.

So for us 70 wizards, my power pool is 6,431 with Lunar/Draco armor. So with reduced power pools we will go OOP sooner. Why? Why do this to 2 classes that have nothing to give to a raid if they are OOP. That's utter bull crap, we need larger pools not smaller ones.

It's just like raiding an item's regular price and then putting it on SALE for it's previous price. And just as lame.

Oh, it's because there's a stat cap. uhh.. WAKE UP! our only offense/defense is intelligence. We live and die through this attribute. And to add insult to injury, we're being hindered by high power reqs ' of our spells. LoL.. our power-convert isn't even enough to cast an Ice nova or fusion for that matter, how do you expect us to be t1 dps on a fight that's ridiculously long as Princes?ya.. thanks.

This problem seems to be compounded by the fact that spells get less efficient as level increases. BoI and BoL is the one that sticks in my memory. More total damage but less damage per point of power expended.

I often wonder, when looking at the MT buffed to over 12k HPs, why the MC(asters) can't buff to 10k power?

Seriously though, any significant decrease in our powerpool will impact us greatly. I can usually get to 7,100-7,200 POW and that's just straddling the fine line. It's the age old argument that as we compare ourselves with the melee DPS classes, our only opportunity for DPS is based on our ability to cast our spells. While the melee classes can increase their DPS with weapons, haste, etc.

I do all I can to ensure that I have the best regen items on me from FT gear, power roots (Carn plant), lvl 50 guild rewards, potions, best drink, etc. And on long fights I'm still canni, relying on our regen classes....but still go OOP.

I really hope our power pool isn't reduced....
