<DIV>Hey Gents -</DIV> <DIV>I completed the betrayal quest at 70th level last night to be come Najena's newest wizard. The worst part of this whole deal is having to leave Freeport - I could have probably betrayed again but that would have required more work and I'd rather just live with being a goody-goody.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>That warlock gig was great for leveling up but you wizzies just look like you're having too much fun on raids. Looks like I'll be in Deathtoll tonite on my first raid as a wizard!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Kinda stinks having to lose all my masters, adept3s and my hoo'lah hat but better late than never. =)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Just wanted to introduce myself - will be reading your boards and trying to get to know this new class.</DIV>

<DIV>Hm, too late to help you, but worth mentioning that you never had to come to Qeynos to become a wizard.  If you start from Freeport, start the betrayal, get kicked out of Freeport and end up in Haven.  At this point you have the choice to go straight back to Freeport (by doing the Qeynos sabotage quests) and once you finish regaining Freeport's trust, you can choose either wizard or warlock, since they're both neutral classes.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>However ... welcome to Qeynos and wizardhood!  The landscaping is nicer in Qeynos anyway, and this way you can pick up all the known player languages and racial history books.  <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

I'm not exactly sure that you'll become a wizard when you get to Qeynos.  I started in Qeynos as a Warlock, and I think if I were to betray to Freeport, I'd still be a Warlock.  Warlock is a neutral class, and will be found in both cities as are Wizards.  Good luck to you!

<DIV>Yes, they are both neutral classes but you can still betray and switch - which I did this past Friday. I'm now a wizard after spending 70 levels as a Warlock.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Apparently you can betray your home city, go to haven and then rebuild faction within your home city again ... so just switch classes but not actually switch homes.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Freeport --> Haven --> Freeport again</DIV> <DIV>Qeynos --> Haven --> Qeynos again</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Wish I had known that - Qeynos is way too Disneyworld for me. Too late now.</DIV>

<P>Ok, I stand corrected.  That's nice that you get the choice.  <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P>
