I am new to EQ2. My Wizard is currently level 16. All of his damage spells are upgraded as high as I could atBroker. Several are Master 1. Right now, for my level, I do massive damage. My question concerns damage done by my spells. Other than spell upgrades, which I've mostly done, what else (if anything)  will increase my damage output as I level?   If I am level 25 in a week and still Master 1 in damage spells, is the damage that the spells do at 25 exactly the  same as they did at 16? Does increasing INT, which I know is a prime stat for Wizards, also increase damage? If so, what is the relationship of INT to damage?    I'm trying to understyand the game and how I can increase damage as I level. (Assuming my spells are at max upgrade)ThanksDeene<div></div>

<div></div>Increasing your inteligence will increase the damage done by all spells. On another note, I have to admit to being surpised that you've done that much upgrading on spells.  Even for low-level spells, masters tend not to be incredibly cheap, especially when measured by the amount of money most lower-level characters have.  At low-levels, you tend to level-up fairly fast, and thus end up replacing spells;  you may want to not worry about getting masters.  App 3 and 4 will usually do, and even for most of the higher levels adept 1 and 3 is what you'll tend to have.  While getting an affordable master spell will always help, it's mostly raiders who are going to really want them<div></div>

since ur still a low lvl.. don't bother with m1 spells until later in the game. they're expensive (imo) and not worth it cuz it's not a spell that you'll use in the long run. try to attain your a1 or a3 when u can.. you'll be ok till then.

Don't forget that your damage will go down if you stray further from the int cap - basically you need to keep raising it as you level.

<DIV>that doesnt sound correct cause my Ice comet does around 4000 average  it ranges from 2700 to 5200 per hit and my Fusion does max of over 8000.</DIV>
