Running around bored and was thinking...Would you give up the benefit of Ward of Sages and Freehand Sorcercy by equipping a secondary item if Brainstorm didn't require the offhand equipment slot to be empty?Would you keep an item equipped permanently in the offhand slot or only occasionaly, if yes?If no, why not?

I tink it all depends on the way you play. I'm at max intelligence anyway. Then resists can be interesting, but :

If u're using DDs a lot, or Group AEs (glacial wind) you can be far from mobs, resists are useless for 95% of a raid, and having an empty slot is not a problem.

If you want to use AE like FoR or Fusion, you must be close to mobs, then it depends again if they have AE or not .

Merging both ideas, I think you need resists in 10% of the raids. Of course if it were 30 percent, I'd have to reconsider.then my answer is : I don't care (and, moreover, will have a new slot, earring, soon)
