I'm only 30 now, but your first must-have quest is the AQ line of armor. I duo'ed the entire AQ line with a similar level cunjuror. The wizzy AQ robe looks sweet.

Of course, every player needs to do the Ties that Bind quest, which can be done at any level.

Every player should complete the Splitpaw adventure pack for the free teleport stone. This can be done at any level past 20.

Start the Manastone and Hadden's HQ quests in your mid 20's, to be completed in your mid 30's. Also do the EE bag HQ in your 30's.

The Augur quests from Zek and EL are easy to do and give decent T4 jewelery.

When you hit 40, do the beetle zapper line of armor quests in SS. They can all be done while invis and you don't have to kill anything. The armor is ok, better than normal crafted, but the best part is that it costs almost nothing to repair it, not to mention that it looks cool as hell. You can do these while working on MajDul faction quests.

Did you look at the top of this page at the wizard's guide? That beetle armor is plate last time I did the quest x2.You can do the quest at level 1 I think. Run around naked, be careful of aggro, and you get gooooold at level 1.

I assumed the reward matched the class of the person doing the quest, especially since I have run across other non-plate wearers who were doing it at the same time. Either way, the armor sucks, but the exp it gives is pretty nice for basically doing nothing.

Im a level 35 Wiz and did Nek Castle the other day with 2 guildmates. Forget the exact name of the quest but it was getting the lockets from each of the 6 daughters.

Some of the daughters drop some nice dolls +13 INT if I remember offhand. Fairly new to the game and haven't really seen the stats on T4 player crafted hex dolls so have nothing to base a comparison. But I thought +13 INT was nice !!!

A must do quest is Stein of Moggok HQ for when you hit 40 gives 18 to INT i believe and 10 to AGI.. real easy hq and a nice reward. if you like 2 handed staffs the hq for the heirophants crook isnt a bad one... nice headpiece is the hq an eye for power in everfrost for 40... if your going for good gear quests arent the way 2 do it. nek castle has good drops.. RoV has almost a full set of legendary mage wear available if your willing to camp/farm it. Temple of CT has a good robe for 40... Fallen Gate has a nice staff.. staff of darkened mists i believe.. gives almost 20 to INT..?? cant remember.. For 30 i would recommend doing RoV as much as possible to get drops.. Cape of Creation, Sleeves of Secrets, Robe of Varsoon, etc... Once you hit 40 do Heirophants Crook hq (cant remember name atm), Stein of Moggok hq, and Eye for Power hq and Saving Soles hq. those are all some good 40 ones. And possibly the easiest hq of all time is foomby's bag in EL. 20 slot bag for nothing really.

Cant remember alot of the 20 quests.. i focus mainly on hq's mainly because they give some of the best rewards

As for "GOOD wizarding guilds" i would say just get in a guild that helps you out or that you like...
s

I love my Tarton's Wheel, I did it in my 40s and although I don't normally equip it, it's a great utility item. Most useful when you're somewhere high up and you need to get down, and of course we wizards don't have safe fall...

I have used it in a number of places to get safely to lower ground without having to evac. Examples: in Barren Skies talking to the Hooluk hat quest giver, to get down from there, simply click your Tarton's Wheel and you'll be down on the ground in a random location nearby. In Bonemire on the Halls of Fate island, when you have to get way down the slope to pick up a gnomish thingummy for the heritage quest, instead of trying to climb down there, just click your Tarton's Wheel a couple times, and voila.

It teleports you to a random location within a certain distance from your start point *but will always put you at ground level wherever you arrive*. Very handy little utility thingy.

Manastone, JBoots, Stein of Moggok, By hook or by Crook... oh, and in your 20's try to get to Vault of the Fallen as often as possible. The wand is very nice at that level, and there is a Fabled legging that drops in there.

Also, do the Splitpaw line, and the Bloodline. The spell for splitpaw isnt all that great really, but the Bloodline spell is a must have.

Well I am going to start off with I have had my wizard for a long time, and have done a lot of quests so I may be a little forgetful of some of the good ones I have done. However Stilleto's Order which gives you the manastone and can be started and finished in your late 20's early 30s is a must. Nothing better then having more power! Also for collection quest, make sure you get all your orbs. You get a nice legendary neclace with +11 int at level 35 or so with all these plus disruption, ministration subjegation and so on. As for nice drops, check out Varsoon, Ct and RE, in Re you can get the Brewmaster's Stick or Rod of confusion which isn't to bad, both legendary for levels 30-39 in Varsoon Alch. Punja drops the Fabled Bracers of the Demented with 11 int for level 20-30 i believe and Pitchet drops a wand/fork thing. Also do by hook or by... for Heriphant's crook, eye of power for Tobrin's eye patch, A strange black rock, which is a low level HQ and is decent neck gear, Haddens Earing and Stein of Moggok all nice HQ's with good wizard gear. When you get higher there is the Hat Quest Blood of the Brood. The nest drops a nice fabled robe, lots of legendary gear spread throughout the instance zones that are good, just got to find a person with something you like and ask hey where did ya get that!? well gl, hope you like being a wizard!

Sheehan

70 wizard on Blackburrow
