<DIV>I just did a few resistance debuff test<BR> <BR>ice fleme: base damage 451 x2<BR>t7 hex doll: 774-947 all spell resist debuff<BR>rending icicles adept3: 966 heat and cold resist debuff<BR> <BR>target: level 25 freeport guard, level 57 solo flower in TT, level 64 solo aviak in BS<BR>I hit them about 10 times with ice flame, the numbers are all the same.<BR> <BR>with doll: 466-472 = 3.32%-4.65% increase<BR>with RI: 476 = 5.54% increase<BR><FONT color=#ffff00>with both: 528-532 = 17%-17.9% increase!<BR></FONT> <BR>The effect of resistance debuff seems to go up exponentially. Small debuff (lower than 1k) doesnt seems to do much. But if you stack them up, it'll greatly increase your damage.</DIV>

Thats a nice increase very nice one.My only question is, Isn't the hex doll a 10 second cast? If so i think it would be good for raids but in grps there isn't much of a purpose since mobs tend to alrdy be at 50% health 10 seconds in the fight.

Yes it's very good in raid and some strong nameds since it lasts for almost 2 minutes. Some support classes that doesnt need to chain cast can use it in raid to increase the raid's dps.<BR>

It actaully increased my ice flame's (heat and cold) damage.<BR>And yea it's useless in PvP. I think that 8sec cast time needs to be lower to like 5sec max.

It decreases all 'magical' resistances, which is all seven different types, 'magic' just being one of course.

has anyone tried casting rending icicles and then piercing icicles when it has refreshed? will it let you stack the two?  I'm going to try it tonight and see if it ups the dmg or not.
