Wisdom - is it important to us?

<div></div>Yes, it helps with getting past mobs resisting our attacks.  Try getting a potion that raises WIS and see how many times you get resisted.

<div></div><p>I have never experienced or read anything that lead me to believe that having higher WIS had any effect on how often your spells got resisted on mobs.</p><p>For a Mage, WIS has one benefit, it adds to your resists, ie, cold, heat, magic, divine, etc.</p>

<div>Tis very important</div><div> </div><div>When raiding or grouping, if I am grouped with a fury and have their intel buff (as high as 109 intel), I have a completely separate set of wisdom gear that i equip.  It makes a sizable difference, especialy when raiding on your resists.  As far as combining them for soloing, I would focus on intel, and if you happen to come along an item that gives you wisdom as well, all the better....potions are a decent idea too.</div><div> </div><div>Furies are a wizards best friend.</div>

Wisdom increase YOUR resists, I never saw with my parser any difference with mob ones.<div></div>

<div></div><p>Wisdom only increases your resists. It does not affect how well a spell will land on a target. Increasing disruption will help with this. I love wisdom though and it helps on fighting caster mobs. If you raid alot, it is essential to have high resists as most raid mobs will cast an ae. Also, I have found it useful when dueling and resisting that stun everyone loves casting on wizzies <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p> </p>

<div></div><p>wisdom helps for resists.. this is probably the 3rd attribute i'll be looking for cuz i'm a HP wiz. I try to increase my hp before I increase resistances. However, I'm not a fan of items with no resistances either. All my gear has a certain number of resistances.. even if it means wearing t6 fabled armour.  I do this because, we're a ranged class and we're barely under the AE of the mob.</p><p>1 wis = 10resist all ? not sure could be more or less.</p>

Unless it's changed in the last 3 months or so, +1 wisdom was +5 to all resists.<div></div>
