Ring of Ice

<DIV>Hi there I was wondering if anyone else is having a problem with this spell.  I use to be able to cast it and the root would work for the 36 or so seconds and then I could refreeze etc.  Rarely broke unless I hit it with a couple of spells etc.   Today I noticed that it was breaking for no reason.  I would put it on a creature and it would freeze for about 2 seconds and then break.  I didnt even have time to cast another spell.  And no it did not resist Ring of Ice it actually did take hold but like a said it would break after about 2 seconds.  Please dont tell me they nerfed this spell again.  I mean the nerf from 50 seconds to 36 seconds was bad enough.  But after using it today I would say it is pretty much worthless.  I could not get it to stick on anything.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Any info would be greatly appreciated</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks</DIV>

<P>RoI sticks as well as it always has for me.</P> <DIV>Once you cast the root, there is always a chance of the mob breaking the root early (especially if you are in a group with melee'ers who are wacking at it too).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>From my experience unless you are prepared to reroot, I would avoid doing things like dots or pets and stick to things like IC BoI Incap and Sunstrike to maximize your root efficiency.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also, after RoI I usually use Truss to single target root the mob I am focused on atm.  That way the mob has 2 roots to work thru before getting to me.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also, try using the snare spell Numbing Cold after you root the mob down.  That way if the spell breaks early you have more time to root it again or burn it down.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
