View Full Version : To Raiding Wizards: How is power consumption in a long battle?

<DIV>Since the revamp/DoF I have not been raiding much since my time has been spent Xping, but I will hopefully be hitting 60 soon, and then raiding most of the time.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>To be honest, I'm concerned about our ability to do great damage over a long battle, because even when grinding Xp, if I get a good chain-puller, I tend to run oop every 5 heroic fights or so(depending on how many other DPS are in the grp etc..., have RoI and Gebs, still working on Prismatics, always have T6 drink, 390 self-buffed Int)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So, for our fellow Wizzy raiders I have a question:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>1)-Do we still do great DPS in long fights with nameds on Raids? Or are we overtaken by many other classes out there because we run oop fast? I would hate it if #2 were the case, it would mean our role as Top Tier DPS along with our fellow Warlocks is restricted to 20 sec fights for Xp...no need to do that any longer at lvl 60. Wizards have been penalized for a very long time before the revamp due to resists...if now our DPS on raids is still bad because of power...well, let's see what the Wizards who have raided have to say.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Any comments from raiding wizards will be more than helpful. Thanks in advance.</DIV>

I find that our dps is still the best or among the best in raid situations even if its a long fight. I do find myself running out of power fast but with alot of power regening you can usually battle through it

<div></div><span><blockquote><hr> <div>1)-Do we still do great DPS in long fights with nameds on Raids? Melee keeps on fighting, but it's hard to melee enough to equal a big spell, even fired sporadically.    Rangers with good bow skills will sometimes top wizards, but not by a wide margin. <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I have not tried any new worlds X4s yet but the X2s and X3s on power consumption seems spot on. Im just oom at the end of these fights.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Just use your HP to Mana spells, Gebs, Prismatic and RoI work very well if you have them.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks</DIV> <DIV>Robsco the Humble Gnome Steamfont</DIV>
