<DIV>I'm a level 47 Wizard with fair stuff.  In The Sunken Sands I can defeat MOBs higher level than I am, but in any old zone, I get my butt handed to me by level 35's.  [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot]?  They resist my spells and  knock me silly.  I have no choice but to stand there and watch as they continue to beat me to death.  This is fun?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I mean, I spent 10 months leveling this toon.  I have done over 1000 quests.  And I can't kill a level 35, twelve levels below me?  Not fun!</DIV>

if lv 35's r kicking ur [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] at 47 u have screwed up somewhere lol. now if some of those 35's happen to be gray and herotic with 3 arrows up or even 2, then ya, it doesnt matter what lv u are, if u aint in a grp they will kick ur butt all around the ground. Learned that the hard way when i took on that gailspear centar in ts at lv 40 and it was lv 25. <div></div>

<P>You have not been very helpful my friend.  I used to lay waste to these very same mobs, and now, I can put out even more damage.  But last night we took a group into Varsoon's to teach him a lesson.  Well, we got our {Things we sit on} handed to us.  I expended all my power and only did 380 twice because of an augment.  Over 2800 in power, and I only did 760 in damage?  Do you understand my frustration?  I have fair equipment, I'm level 47 and I couldn't touch Varsoon.  Add that to the 3 regular level 35's that killed me the other day and you have one upset wizard.  And what's with my new invis that seems to be totally untrustworthy at anything less than 3 minutes left?</P> <P>The answer is not that I have messed anything up.  The answer is Sony has messed something up.  I've played ball, I've learned how to use the new spells and abilities I have.  I can SOLO mobs my level and above in The Sinking Sands, so why can't I kill any mob's 12 levels below me?</P> <P>Note, I can blast, heck, I can even hit with a waepon, a Level 44^^^ Heroic MOB, but I can't kill level 35,s.  Go figure.</P> <P>Message Edited by Hudd on <SPAN class=date_text>09-24-2005</SPAN> <SPAN class=time_text>10:19 PM</SPAN></P><p>Message Edited by Hudd on <span class=date_text>09-24-2005</span> <span class=time_text>10:57 PM</span>

hmm, that is strange. i know in zek, it took me and 5 other mages to put down a named. he was lv 25 and we were around 33 to 36. Somthing does seem to be going on with those herotics. But when u say u went into varsoons, were they just ur regular mobs, or did u take on varsoon himself? either way u should have had no trouble at that lv. Maby epics or herotics are ment to be killed in raids now, who knows, probably just another mess up on soe's part. at least i hope so, otherwise its gona be really hard to get fabled stuff from now on lol. <div></div>

<P>Both actually, I tried to kill three level 35's and got ganked, and a group of us went into kill Varsoon and I couldn't touch him.  Ok, he's a named 35 ^^^ heroic or Epic, can't remember.  What I do remember is that out of the entire group, only the 35 monk could touch him, and he went down fast.  The Monk, not Varsoon.  And the Monk couldn't do much damage either.</P> <P>I am regularly defeating MOBs 4 levels higher than I am, and getting trounced by MOBs 10 levels lower.  Something is NOT right.  STILL!</P>

I am assuming you are meaning low level group mobs, because if you are getting killed by solo greys, then you're lame sorry.  But yes, GROUP and solo makes a big difference.</span><div></div>

Or You're a troll. I was with a group for Varsoon last week (post CU), and landed every spell I threw at him. I was lvl 41 at the time. I did several thousand damage to him, easily. You're saying that 3 *regular* (ie no arrows at all) lvl 35 mobs killed you? Do you look at the screen from time to time, or what? I'm routinely (<b>routinely</b>) killing lvl 40-43 mobs (with up to 1 ^) with zero difficulty in Zek, in EL, in the Feerrott, in Splitpaw, anywhere I find them. If a lvl 35, with NO arrows is killing you, a lvl 47 wizard, then you may want to try casting the occasional spell........ <div></div>

<P>There are alot of "stagnant" levels. You will see a noticeable difference at 50 when you get IC. I remember the first time I hit Varsoon waay before the combat changes and had the same trouble - very resistant. Almost nothing hitting him. I went back nearly every level and found that leveling dramatically(!) changes the resists. More so than any debuff could. Keep hammering away.</P> <P>I am sure they are looking at any changes in difficulty at all levels. If they are looking at Darathar and epic, I'm sure they're looking at the heroic aspect as well. </P> <P>Lerxt</P>
