<DIV>As if anyone cares, here is my take on things.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>1) The new spells and combat system are more fun for me. I'll spare you the details. I simply find the combat more interesting.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>2) I still don't feel like my wizard is a wizard. Once you understand the generic combat system behind the labels on your generic skills, its very simply to switch from class to class without much problem.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Whats missing?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>1) Ports (I don't care if there are other options. Ports are cool)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>2) Counterspells (stiffle is cool, but mindless)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>3) Runes (good ones)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>4) Quests and game mechanics built around the community of mages and their struggle to use / control the magic.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I really like the game within a game system. Is it hard to manage? Sure. Its always hard to be the best. Rise to the challenge SOE. Don't run away.</DIV>

well we have a portal spell that i find quite usefull when im deep in bad territory, or as a quick getaway that sends me to the docks. 2 What exactly do u define as a wizard then? i mean, ur common fighter doesnt exactly whip 1000 dps outa his pocket lol. As for counterspells, thats basicly what resists r for. And quests built around us in our struggle to use/control the magic? [Removed for Content] is that. lol this isnt a fictional novel like dragonlance. we already understand the magic. how else could we cast it<span>:smileyvery-happy:</span> <div></div>

All of my toons are different by shades of grey IMO. </P> <P>To your last comment, I would request you to define a FANATASY BASED ROLE PLAYING game then. EQ2 seriously lacks the role playing part of MMORPG. This was my problem with City of Heros. WoW seems to suffer it too, although by a lesser degree IMO. I'm watching Vanguard and LotRO carefullly - hoping they don't make the same mistake as well. hey, i dont care if a healer releases more damage then me, as long as i have the dmg that i have now i dont care what the rest of the classes do. while i solo i see grps of people taking on mobs my lv that i simply walk up to cast my spells and blast them all away. {of course to try this i would recoment decent armour otherwise the hits wont be so small lol. as for creativity and whatnot of the game. to me, this looks like 1 of the best in the field. ive never seen the city of heroes, but i have seen a couple others, including wow that looked more cartoonish to me, not really sure the gameplay though but im content <div></div>
