<DIV>Ok, I've been cruising the forums trying to find out if others are having this problem and have seen nothing.  I dinged 51 last night and was waiting for that new spell(s) noise, but didn't get any.  Anyone know what's going on with this?  Thanks in advance.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>51-60 you no longer recieve app1 spells on lvling. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>There are app 2 spells availible at the courts. If you dont have the faction then you will have to have them made for you at appIV or above.</DIV>

Thanks for the quick reply...I wish they would have made that info more visible somewhere.  I don't know if I like that change as it seemed to take the fun out of gaining a new level.  It's nice to get something right away after you ding.  Perhaps it won't matter when there are actually more spells on the broker, but it didnt' seem like much of an accomplishment as I get that great level sound and then nada.  Oh well...thanks again.

Actually, I think there are some spells now that you can buy without faction on the merchants in Madjul in that large building where you can buy crafting uprades as well.  The original plan I think was all app2s purchased only after you got faction but I think they changed this before live and put the first several levels on direct merchants now.  Under the current system though If ya have the money I would pay a sage to make me an app4 or adept 3 (if ya can find the rare) since the new combat system is much more focused on the level of the spell your casting.

the guy who sells trade skills books only sell about 4/5 spells but most of your spells (app 2) , you will need to do the faction quests and buy them from the city.
