<DIV>Looks like they added speed reduction to Distorted Visions at lower levels. It used to be that the App 1 & 2 versions of this spell had no debuff at all. I suppose I forgot to consult the official dictionary for online game slang.... oh right, it doesn't exist. I guess it all depends on your perspective. The ability to run at regular speed while invisible was a big plus. It was also a tradeoff as upgrading to Adept I would make me invisible to higher level mobs.... Call it a fix or whatever you want pal, this was one of the few bugs in the game that actually benefited the class... and I'm sorry to see it go.... that better?

<DIV>I was simply using the spell SOE gave me for the purpose it was intended: Sneaking past mobs that would be KoS. They messed it up and I'm to blame? Or maybe I should avoid using a vital spell because it's currently an 'exploit'. But thanks for the suggestions. </DIV>

if u want the invisi spell back bugged why not just ask soe to fix it :smileyvery-happy: ya, that was one of there better glitches. now if they can only fix where the screen stays still everything seems fine while the monster is frozen, and then BAM!!! Time catches up when u didnt even miss it and uve got 900 hp gone. <div></div>

Get that? Feel better? *disclaimer: I don't claim perfect spelling or grammar, and the only people I expect to have that are the editors I work with. Second I didn't say it was an exploit. It's not an exploit if they accidently removed something from a spell that was helpful. They really don't expect you to not use the spell until it's fixed. No one is doubting the spell was changed. But for nitpicking, your the one that seems to have an issue with the spell changing. Clearly, you think bugs that help you should be left in the game, and bugs that work against you taken out. No one is blaming you for Sony's mistake. It seems your new to all this, and all some people where doing was letting you know the difference between a nerf and a fix, but I guess you're just one of those people that when corrected, change the subject and go on attack. But once you became aware of an upgrade option (which was undoubtedly dirt cheap), and you refused the upgrade on the basis that you preferred to use the bugged spell you were exploiting. Now, if you choose to be an idiot, this is where you respond with "But what if someone couldn't afford....." or "But what if someone didn't know" etc. Once you know, you buy the upgrade. An App3 or App4 of the spell would cost you virtually nothing. Hope the bold type helped it sink in. <div></div>

I sell App4 Tier 4 spells for 1g each. Given that you are pulling in loot worth 50s and up at that level, 1g is dirt cheap. Alternatively, go make a Sage. It'll cost roughly 40s to make the spell, not counting purchasing Raws. <div></div>
