<DIV>Ok, they changed how intelligence affects damage. I used Ice Comet Adept 3 for this check. On both charts, ignore the intelligence line. I added it for my own benefit, however, I have had people confuse it and think the convergence with the damage lines has signifigance. The convergence has no signifigance since the intelligence line is linked to a different scale shown on the right side of the graph. If I change the scale on the right side, the convergence will move - making any direct comparison meaningless. The intelligence line is independent of any damage line.

So we are getting close to 6 damage for every point of int that we add? That's incredible! Add a couple hex dolls and an int imbued ring and you'll instantly do almost 200 damage more on that spell? Sweet! <div></div>

That is from my small 200-206 sample. Of course, I have had a T5 cedar wand on order for 3 weeks now. I hope the crafter checks their mail before my items poof.

<div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div>While your graphs are interesting you made a minor mistake in plotting them. Because the progression of intelligence is not linear (i.e. sometimes the next value is one more point of intellegence sometimes it is as much as a 14 point jump) you can't plot it as a line graph. Excel isn't smart enough to correctly space the placement of the values on the x axis. It will put the 50 to 51 numbers the exact same distance apart as the 159 to 173 jump, this will make the movement of the plotted line erratic. I missed the fact that the x axis was non-linear. I did create one with an average filled in. However, it is basically a linear rise. The only questions I see are from 60-90. 2 point increase here looks to be a bug since pre-60 is 4 poinys and post 90 is 6 points. I have a feeling the 60-90 shoud have been 5 point increases. The effective cap is set at 10 times the character's level. For example, a level 30 fighter will receive an increasing melee damage bonus up to 300 Strength, while a level 40 wizard will receive an increasing bonus to spell damage up to 400 Intelligence. I have no numbers past 206, so I cannot tell if there is a point of diminishing returns or if it is a flat increase. I would love to help out, unfortunately, I am only getting about 5 minutes on-line a night to say hi to the guild. I am currently working 60+ hours a week to get some projects out the door. With a wife and kids, that does not leave me any time for EQ2 atm.
