Wizard Adept 3s

Ive been reading these forums for quite a while now and the most commonly posted subject (apart from all the whiners going on about warlocks) is which spells to get upgraded to adept 3. As there are two recent posts about it i decided to start a new thread with recommendation for all the spells. This is written as a level 50 wizard so there may be some spells ive forgotten about that i no longer use but these are the best choices at 50. <b>Tier 1 </b>The only thing i would upgrade to adept 3 is Magi's Shielding but you really should chose the level 10 training option as everything else is replaced so quickly. <b> Tier 2</b> Frozen Manacles, Ice Spike, Incinerate, Painful Meditation (if you didn choose the level 20 training choice) and Freezing Whorl are all worth upgrading. They are all still used at 50 and are relatively good. <b>Tier 3</b> Ball of Fire and Icy Coil are two you should deffinately upgrade. you will use BoF up to 37 when the level 30 training option does more damage or 50 if you didnt take that training option. From tier 3 Dazzling Seal is the only other one worth upgrading but get the other two done first, everything else gets upgraded or is useless. <b>Tier 4</b> From these spells you deffinately need to get Ball of Flames, Ice Flames and Immolation, these are your primary damage spells at 50 apart from BoF/Westfend's Ice Spear and Ice Comet. Apart from these these isnt much else worth upgrading. <b>Tier 5</b> Ice Comet, Piercing Icicles and Vital Flow are deffinately worth upgrading. If you do a lot of soloing you might want to consider Ring of Cold. After these you might want to consider your group buffs (Hand of the Tyrant and Augmentation), Flamestrike and Protoflame (I know protoflame is pretty pathetic at the moment but it is being fixed and as far as i know it was quite good when it worked). For anything else i would wait until after the combat revamp, we are getting more spells and our AEs will be more useful but as we dont know any specifics you should wait, unless you are very rich and have nothing else to spend you money on. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Please feel free to add any suggestion or spells ive forgetten. <div></div>
