Adept 3...what now?

<DIV>I hit 50 with my wizzy not very long ago.  I have Adept 1 on all my spells, except Ice Comet, Immolation and Ball of Flames (those are Adept 3).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I just got a ruby and want to know, from the experienced level 50 wizards, what else I should upgrade to Adept 3.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Any advice would be appreciated.</DIV>

<P>Piercing Icicles is a nice upgrade to Adept III (Level 40)</P> <P>Or, if you didnt pick Rath'Adran's Fiery Efflux (Training Choice) you could perhaps choose to upgrade Fiery Surge to Adept III.</P> <P>Also I would upgrade Ice Flame (Level 35) to Adept III.</P> <P>Unfortunately we do not get that many great spells 40-50, which is a real shame <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P>

I'd have to second Kailia's opinion, for a ruby your best dmg upgrade is Piercing Icicles. If you're in a guild that raids and you find yourself doing alot of pumping, perhaps Fiery Surge or if you do alot of soloing, maybe Ring of Cold. Icy Flame (needs an opal or ruthenium) is another great upgrade as well.

Icy Flame and Ice Flame are two different spells, by the way,Icy Flame is a mystic spell.Ours is Ice Flame.

What does Ice Flame do anyway? I'm lvl 34 and wondering whether I should get an adept3 of it as well. Why is it good? Is it a nuke, a DoT...?

Where do people get all these rubies?  I've spent 5 nights harvesting in Feetrott and haven't seen a single ruby.  I did get a couple worthless rares that sell for like 2g a piece (unlike the real rares that sell for 2-3 plat)... <div></div>
