<DIV>Ok, I finally splurged on the level 30 & 40 fun spells. One looks like you are burning, the other like you are frosted. Fun <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyways, there is no maintained spell icon for these and I cannot figure out how to get rid of the effects. No icon also means I can't checked to see how long it lasts <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Please, please help me get rid of this /sobs hysterically</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thank you for your patience <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Phayd, lvl 43 Wizard of the Light, Unrest</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

I believe they last 15 minutes, but once you click them on, they're on unless you do another one. (Or, yes, unless you type /hide)

<P>Thanks folks. I'll try hiding when I log on again. Glad they do wear off eventually though <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> </P> <P> </P>

Dying works nicely to get rid of those pesky fun spells <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<P>There's a flying snake!?!?!? I missed that one..... Time to go shopping <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P> <P> </P>

it is called Al'Cenari's Scaled Companion
<DIV>Think I prefer the book personally =P. Anyway, /hide is shortened for /hideillusion, and the only problem with this is that it actually hides all illusions on ALL pc's until you toggle it back to whatever it's default is. Just a warning, in case you actually do want to see that guardian in golem form or the spectral lions or... /shrug</DIV>

Where does one buy these fun spells?I know the lvl 20 fun spell is in Eldar Grove and found it there no problem, but I can't find the lvl 30 & 35 spells. I checked the scribe next to royal accountant fowler in Q Harbor, no luck. Anywhere else I should be looking?

I don't have the upper level fun spells, just the familiar for now, but most spells that remain active can be dispelled by clicking the corresponding icon again in your toolbar or spellbook. No idea if this will work for the flame/frost illusions, but it might be worth a shot.
