<P>This is what I've done so far and I'm 42, so I know how you feel.  I also asked the same question in these forums on spells, check my posts and look at that thread.</P> <P>Spells: I have 3 inks ready to upgrade my T5 spells.  Until the upcoming combat update, I'm not going to Adept3 anything.  Well, I know I'll do Ice comet <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> , just not going to risk inks on spells that can soon be completely changed with the CU.  Hold you inks and rares...</P> <P>Your best bet for T4 spells, I think, are Ball of Flames, Immoliation and Ice Flame(Bloodlines).  I think I also have Freezing Wind</P> <P>Gear: Unless you are a camping / farming fool, Robe of the Invoker is very, very hard to get.  You can try that route.  I have the Ancient Rallosian Gown waiting for me a 47, that a +16 Int/Wis robe, pretty nice.  Value went up quite fast after the RoI nerf.  In general, I think the tiered common gear is fine until you get to 50.  By then, you should have done a good assortment of HQs, like the eyepatch, GEBs, manastone, sash, etc.  If your guild raids, get a piece of cedar from the raid and send it to a woodwork, with the T5 essence and have an inbued cedar wand made.  I'd also look to get Tarton's Wheel, < sweet item.  If you can get a ruby, have a T5 ruby ring made.</P> <P>These are just common sense type things to get.  I'm not going to tell you to go out and get this fabled piece or that, just trying to be practical.</P> <P>good luck!</P> <P>Oumania<BR>Qeynos Tool & Die Co.<BR>Blackburrow</P>

<P>Agree with Oumana on the spells. At47 I have all Ad1, but no Ad3 made altough I have some rubies in the bank. I considered Ring of Cold, but its just fine at Ad1. I'll surely get Ice Comet and maybe Icy Wind.</P> <P>As for the armor I got myself tailored rare armor (Linen/Constructor). It maybe not as good as the best dropped armor, but it will serve you throughout the whole tier lvl40 to 50.
