View Full Version : Frostbound Gift
I searched for a thread that already covered this, but found none. I noticed on our spell, Frostbound Gift, it has a 10 minute duration, and a 3 minute recast. Is that recast timer SUPPOSED to start AFTER the spell wears off? Because it does, and you are without that buff for 3 minutes once it wears off. I dunno, but I would think recast would mean 3 minutes after you cast it the first time, irregardless of when it wears off. Am I reading it incorrectly? <div></div>

thats how its meant to work. you need to think about when youre going to use. i generally put it up for tougher fights and raids. if you have two wizards in your group though it can br kept up all the time. <div></div>
<DIV>also, if you look at the spell it has a fire symbol for HO's, it's something you can use to finish some of the 4 class HO's or our rare one if immolation and paralyze are on recasts or there's too much of a chance that it might get resisted, give the party extra hp's and grab yourself a nice buff or potential for mass damage. kind of a save all spell.</DIV>

Just an FYI on that spell. Don't bother to get it to adept III, was like 2hp and 4 elemental mitigation from adept 1. Leahalexis 50 Wizard Monolith /Steamfont <div></div>

<DIV>Yeah...but it's way orange and the effect will only grow over time. I went ahead and Ad III'd it. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>(Of course, I already had my damage and debuffs and mana feeds at Ad III....I'm just going for utility spells now.)</DIV>
