Wizard or Conjurer?

If you like AoE's go conjuror; if you like direct dmg, then go wizard.

He was asking about soloing.  Two weeks ago, I'd have voted in favor of Wizards.  But now that SOE has aimed a nerf squarely at the only thing I personally enjoyed in the game (which must have been a tough decision since it affects Warlocks as well), if you want to solo, Wizard should be at the very bottom of the list.

Currently wizards are better at solo'ing in higher levels.  However with upcoming changes of which we know very little there's no way to know.  My guess is that a conjurer may be better as currently they do not rely on roots for their technique whereas it is the primary tool wizards used while solo'ing -- and it has already been said that roots will drastically change (may or may not be for the worse -- but my guess is it will be). <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Hope that run on helped.</DIV>

That is the real challenge. Not who can drop those little group of 3 numbfoot hunters in EF the fastest.  Once you finally hit 50 its not about getting xp the fastest anymore. Its about the higher lvl mobs that you can kill..  So come talkin when you drop them 50, 51's or even the epic X 2 mobs =)</P> <P>Conjurors for the win!</P>
