<P>Yep.  What i do is run up to the alter, then run back toward zone in. Keep the Lavaborn targeted, and once he runs at you, use Paralyze, then lock him down with a root.  That's when I open in on my Ring of Cold and nuke cycle.  </P> <P>He is VERY fire resistant, so make good use of Ice Comet and Westfend's Ice Spear.  Ice Flame will half hit, and also ALL of your debuff/DOTs will land.</P> <P> </P>
