<DIV>I usually try to upgrade all my spells.  Just got depart today.  Is there a reason to upgrade this?  what are the benefits?</DIV>

ive got mine at adept 1 though i didnt pay for it. some people have said that it reduces the chance of leaving someone behind although ive never left anyone. either way there is no hard eveidence... just speculation. <div></div>

Upgrading Depart increases its effect radius.  So yes, it does reduce the chance of leaving someone behind (because they are too far away).  <div></div>

<DIV>At App1, there were several instances in which I left folks behind even if they were standing on top of me.  At Adept1, I've not left anyone behind again.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Just my personal experience.</DIV>

<div></div>I used app1 for ages before upgrading, never left anyone behind that was within range.  I'm talking hundreds of casts here...in combat/out of combat, you name it.  Has anyone else had Straylight's experience? <div></div><p>Message Edited by TooFarGone on <span class=date_text>06-14-2005</span> <span class=time_text>01:05 PM</span>

<div></div>I guess when they made all the changes to evac spells (scouts don't evac across zones, etc) they changed this too.  Depart at Apprentice 1 was definitely lower than 10m radius for me way back then.  Then it changed to 10m at Adept 1.  Sorry for the misinformation. <div></div><p>Message Edited by thescaryapothecary on <span class=date_text>06-15-2005</span> <span class=time_text>12:34 AM</span>

Ohhh..wow. Did not know that. I guess we'll have to wait for the "great balancing" to see if anymore work is done to this spell. <div></div>
