<DIV>I look at our list of funs spells to see what my little reward is for hitting <EM>x</EM> level.  Now, i was a bit disappoited with a kitten, but very pleased with my lvl 30 fire form spell.  It's cool to see myself and my steppes horse cloaked with fire.(it could look more like a raging torrent of hell rather than a glorified candle).  Now i look at the lvl 35 fun spell in my book...Al Cenari's Sca. Companaion.  THat is what it reads in the guide.  Bottom line?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><STRONG>What animal/creature does it spawn?</STRONG></DIV>

The critter is sort of a floating snake type thing.  It has little wings... I dunno.  Like the quetzaols(sp) in Solusek's eye (although I'm not sure that helps as you've probably never seen em). The level 40 funspell, IMO, looks the best.  A big ice cube. <div></div>

at 40 we get a spell that encases us in ice and at 45 we get the book familiar <div></div>

The ice spell is by far my favorite.  Try casting it, then get on a horse or griffin.  Also great when leading your group through dark places. =) <div></div>

Even though wizard fun spells are tactically useless, they are the best eye candy.  Everyoen loves my al kabor's flaming visage as I ride the steppes pony.(almost an unkept shadow colored horse).

I like the dark flame, level 50 funspell although most other ppl don't seem to like it.  I like casting it with my horse, it looks like some kind of unholy flaming steed. <div></div>

<DIV>I like my cat. Like a typical cat it never does as it's asked. </DIV> <DIV>Be nice if some of the next fun spells morphed it into a tiger or something. Maybe it would defend me when I'm being attacked! </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<P>they should be in your book IF you scribed them. you don't get them automatically.</P> <P>you get them at certain trainers. in Qeynos they are in Elddar Grove. 3 trainers close together, between NQeynos and QHarbor gates, close to where river flows into zone.</P> <p>Message Edited by jarlaxle888 on <span class=date_text>06-23-2005</span> <span class=time_text>02:21 PM</span>

<P>Mmm... My favorite is definitely Solist's Dark Flame, the lvl 50 fun spell.  Shrouding myself in blue/green flames just looks mean.  Also people tend to complain less about it than the Al'Kabors Flaming Visage.  The Red Flames tend to bog some people's machines down a bit.</P> <P>The Ice shroud is one of my favorites as well.  Cast it on yourself while on your horse, and you turn white, while your horse turns black.  Pretty neat.</P>

jarlaxle888 the fun spells you get in Eldar wood are not for wizards, wizards buy theirs in Qeynos Harbor, from the scribes in the 2 buildings flanking either side of the Harbor door into South Qeynos (which building depends on your level).

I was wondering, can you have two pets going at once?  IE the cat and the 'scaled companion'?  I'm guessing not, but that would be pretty cool.  At 50 you could have a cat, a flying snake, and a book all following you, lol. <div></div>
