Soloing past 45?

<DIV>So, I'm currently a level 46 wizard, and grouping is fun, but I need some alone time :smileyhappy: I've been looking around for a good area to solo at, but there just doesnt seem to be anywhere that's worth the time vs. experience. <DIV>Giants, spider, and bears outside of Permafrost.  Those are all solo/duo mobs and you should be able to handle them fine.</DIV>

<P>As far as I know there isnt really any good solo spots for >45. The closest you get is probably Everfrost, which has some deer, spiders and bears to hunt on the way from the docks to Permafrost entrance. If you feel able to take them them on there are also plenty of 40-45 double ups to solo, however this is a a bit risky for  xping. Another good spot is the solo mobs around the lake by Temple of Cazic-Thule.</P> <P> </P> <P> </P> <DIV> </DIV>

Theres also some goblins/bears about level 46-48 in the back of EF on the ice flows. Theres not alot of them, but its a good place to harvest as well, I usually kill the couple mobs on a flow then harves a few nodes, wash rinse repeat. Its not the best, but the harvesting helps keep you occupied and can help suppliment your income. <div></div>

As a 46 whizzy you should be able so solo any mob in EF. Even the groupmobs, provided that you've got some form of power regen like GEB or Robe of the Invoker. Roots are your big friends <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Just spam grouproot on the mob and nuke it till there is 10 sec left on it. Then spam 2 normal roots till grouproot is up again. Rinse and repeat. <div></div>

<font color="#6633ff">He's right, tho its very risky at times .. for 100% no fail, group with 1 other Wiz of high level and viola, mega exp 100% of time .. when a root gets resisted, back up wiz sends 1 in.  Doubles the dps as well, so takes half the time, so is about the same exp gain as u would slowly soloing really ...</font><font color="#6633ff"> </font><font color="#6633ff"> </font><b><font color="#6633ff">Bluewizard L50</font></b> <div></div>

I took a lvl 48 Wiz into Solusek's Eye with me the other night, and I managed to get her a very sizeable chunk of exp (32%) from duoing Stone Titans.  We just turned circles around that area and killed all the pops.  Very efficient kills, and very fast to boot.  Good exp for her as we were killing lvl 46-48^^ mobs.</DIV>
