<DIV>Right now I have several buffs (not including the buffs that take up concentration) that I use. I am curious what other Wizards are using these for.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Lvl 18 Accord<BR>Lvl 26 Flametongue<BR>Lvl 35 Concurrence<BR>Lvl 38 Descry<BR>Lvl 40 Hand of the Tyrant (I don’t have this quite yet)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>There’s also opportunities to have others from the special abilities however I can’t remember them. Anyways I have several questions.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Who all do you cast these on? What classes benefit most from these buffs and how? At what point to you shelve the lower level ones?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I guess the only one I really know anything about is Descry, which gives an awesome int/wis buff for my Fury buddy and me. The other’s I’m not sure if they do anything at all lol.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks in advance for any advise!<BR></DIV>

I cast concurrence like spells (singularity) on the tank, frostshield as well, but you'll get it at lvl45. I cast flametongue (fiery grandeur) on all melee's. Hand of the tyrant is a group buff that takes concentration so is always up. I also try to always keep icebound gift up. I cast descry on myself, but only if i think about using it. I dont really need the int buff anyway. <div></div>

<div></div><div></div>singularity and frostshield are almost useless. I cast:dazzling seal hand of the tyrant augmentation sometimes snow-filled steps fiery grandeur (I only cast this when we're raiding a mob that uses fire damage since I'm not usually in a group with a meleer anyways) icebound gift descry on all the casters (it gives wisdom too so I put it on the healer as well) and el'arad's shielding on me if I don't cast snow-filled steps When I'm grouped with another wizard, I usually drop augmentation and cast kazlo's accession <div></div><p>Message Edited by Tabemono on <span class="date_text">05-13-2005</span> <span class="time_text">05:01 PM</span></p><p>Message Edited by Tabemono on <span class=date_text>05-17-2005</span> <span class=time_text>05:58 PM</span>

<DIV>I was messing around with buffs yesterday and I noticed the two seal buffs (vivid and dazzling) aren't on the same timer, i.e. they can be up at the same time. But it doesn't seem like they stack when I cast both of them. My int, str and mitigations stay the same when I have dazzling seal up and I cast vivid seal on top of it...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I just thought of it when you mentioned that you use both of those.</DIV>

If you have them both up you get more str and heat resistance. HoT is a poor replacement for DS since it actually buffs less int. It's the usually copy paste issue at work again, and until SOE get around to fixing it, I just have both buffs up.<BR>

I always have it up, but have never tried to cast it on others. Was thinking the description said it was caster-only.<BR>

I cast Descry on everyone, and cast my Proc spells on all melee members. I also keep frostbound gift up as well as all my other group buffs. Regards, Izzy <div></div>

Another thing i noticed was that after i casted both and removed HoT the str and heat buff STAYED....no idea why...must be a bug.

yeah, I just noticed dazzling and vivid don't stack too. Gift of the Magi doesn't even stack (in case u really want that extra 50 sv) I wish frostshield gave cold resist like fiery grandeur gives heat resists <div></div>
