I see Adept I and App IV upgrades to our app I evac on the broker, but all of the stats and recast timers etc seem the same, what is the difference in these, anyone?

The higher the lvl of depart the less likely it is to leave people behind.

i've used evac from AppI to AppIV to Adept I. I use it several times every day, to cut down on running across zone time, as well as combat evac. They have all worked the same. I've never left anyone behind that was within range of the spell. Do you have data, or references to support your claim? If it is true, I'll be upgraded to Ad3 asap (yup, I have ink to waste =P).

I believe leaving people behind is caused by them being out of range, not spell quality.

Beghard wrote:
The higher the lvl of depart the less likely it is to leave people behind.

I recently upgraded my Depart to Adept 1, and I have seen no evidence to back this claim up. I personally see absolutely no difference between the various levels of this spell. What information do you have to support this?

I was told that the upgrade to Adept I from App I increases the effect radius. Is that stat the same on app 1 vs. adept 1?

Message Edited by Supa Mint Flava on 05-11-2005 03:24 PM

The only time anyone was ever left behind when I evaced was because of lag while were running the nek leg of JBoots heritage.

Nope I don't believe upgrading Depart does anything except increase the possibility of fizzling :smileytongue: A few LU's back scout evac was changed to being non upgradeable. We just happened to miss out on that change probably because SOE didn't have the resources to spare or plain just couldn't be bothered changing all the other classes who have evac as well. I think they also wanted to spare the player base from keeling over in shock if they actually showed any consistency in the changes they made.

One thing I observed about our evac is that it leaves people behind if they happen to be standing on uneven ground, even if they are within the 10m radius. Something about the z axis does cause problems, so I would encourage regular group mates to huddle really close whenever you are about to evac.
