<DIV>I just recently purchased the Bloodlines Adventure Pack and I was curious if there were supposed to additional spells for us in it ? I saw a post or 3 about a couple of spells that I don't seem to have in my book. Are these spells something I need to go out and buy or are they supposed to be given to us like our normal spells ?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

the spell we get is ice flame. you can buy the app2 from one of the merchants in nek forest or you can get an app3/4 or adept3 from a sage as you would a normal spell. btw you didnt need to buy bloodlines to get the new spell, although it is worth doing the quests as there are some pretty decent rewards. <div></div>
You also get an anti vampire nuke with a slow component if you finish the quest line, more of a mastery strike than a spell as it cant be upgraded. <div></div>

Ice Flame = level 35 spell. You can have one made by a level 35+ sage that has scribed the appropriate (NPC merch available) book. You can use it starting at level 35. <div></div>

thank you much appreciated
<P>Nice info here, thanks for me as well. Saw an adept 3 for 70 gold, had no idea what it was (didn't have money and wouldn't spend that much anyway, lol).</P> <P>Any comments on how well it works adn upgrades? I saw some reviews of it being a nice movement reduction spell with decent mid range dmg.</P>

I just thought I'd check before I bought the recipe scroll.</P> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
lol, now that is a good question. Poor Qeynosians trying to make the spell and they can't read the book.

I got the adept3 spell from a queynosian sage, then I guess he could read the book. This spell is great, only problem is his short range : I don't use it when soloing hard hitters, because if I am close enough to be able to use it, and if mobs runs at me, I have not enough time to cast paralyze before being hit by a mob who can kill me in 2 hits (barrage and panick attack for example) <div></div>

Yah it is very close range. That and the stun portion doesn't last long at all...a few seconds max (I guess about 3). But it does both ice and heat damage, so if one resists, the other usuallly hits. I've also noticed that this spell will hit higher level mobs which have high fire/ice spells resist...like some of the level 51 ^^ mobs in CT. I've had them resist Immolation, BoFl, and my DoTs all in a row, but Ice Flame hit them with both heat and cold damage. =) Good spell to have, great for HO's. <div></div>

All I had to do was go to Longshadow Alley and learn it one day. Don't assume we Qeynosians don't know every word you Freeportians are saying. :smileywink:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
