<DIV>I played EQ2 in beta and early release. I tried a few different classes, but I really always prefered the wizard type characters in fantasy games.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I left EQ2 because I felt that wizards were not very wizardly at all.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My impression was that they were unarmoured fighters with magical swords.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I really missed the cool magical abilities of wizards, like porting, runes, counter spells, etc.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I know some of these are in the game, but they were VERY marginal in utility.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My question is do you see this changing in the future? I know I am asking for pure speculation, but I am just curious to see what other people think.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>BTW, I am sure there are people who love wizards as they are. I am not insulting you for feeling this way. I am simply asking a question from my point of view.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I also realize that the very fact that you didn't quit your wizard suggests that you like it and that this is the population I am asking for responses from.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>That being said, what do you think?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

Agreed...Warlocks more useful and more effective in solo, groups and raids.

Let's see...:smileyindifferent:<BR> <hr></blockquote>But in this case, i see warlocks getting hit with the lower DPS, and wizards staying around where they are, to be honest. The word is, most classes will see thier DPS adjusted. I assume this means for mages, summoners and enchanters raised, with enchanters seeing the most, however, still coming in under summoners and sorcerers. Warlocks will lose some DPS, and wizards might lose some too.BUT! something in my gut is telling me that INT finally will make a difference. Which might be why they are so silent on that subject. Might as well save the I told you so for afte they make that change. But I could be wrong. I'm just basing this off the cryptic vague posts of Moorgards.

<P>Stave are you serious that is what you think.</P> <P>OMG that would be awful.............Warlocks losing DPS and Wizards a little too...</P> <P>I do not undertsand why if Wizards can barely do anything in raids as it is.</P> <P>I do not understand why they do these things instead of focusing on fixing all these borken and malfunctioning spells.</P> <P>Do you have any thoughts on that?</P> <P> </P> <P> </P>
