<DIV>Alright, this thread is about (as the subject implies) fun spells... those meaningless spells that you can go out and buy for a li'l extra at various scribes and whatnot.  For Shaman, I know that when you hit Mystic, you get to buy a hawk illusion spell, which... well, it kinda sucks.  And as a Wizard, I'm sure we all know that you get to get that li'l kitty cat familiar.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So my question is this: at various subsequent levels, the Mystic gets other fun spells that are about as important as the first (for example, you can get a beaver illusion at level thirty, and a serpent illusion at level thirty-six), so... do you get additional fun spells as a Wizard?</DIV>

I can only say what my character qualifies for at level 36. Level 20: Pet Kitty Level 30: Al'kabar's Flaming Visige (surrounds the caster in fire which kinda dosen't look like fire) Level 35: Pet Serpentine? (I saw it but didn't bother to buy it yet) The only otehr spell I know of is at 45(?), I believe we get a flying book as a pet, but I'm not sure. Flaming visige and going invisable is fun for a bit, but none of these i cast regularly <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>

You allso have at 40 (i think) a spell similar to flaming thingie but you are incased in Ice, you will looke like the ice golem in EF... exept fo that you are not a golem... At 45 (i think) you get a pet book. and finally at lvl 50 you get a purple haze (looks similar to the defiler buff). Fnorg lvl 50 Wizard, Splitpaw <div></div>

<P>Actually, our level 20 spell (the one that summons a cat) is a little bit useful.  I summon the cat soloing all the time, and I'd say about 2 or 3 percent of the time the mob will attack my cat!  I cast flametounge and accord on the cat, so there's a small chance the cat will actually do some damage!</P> <P>But it's really funny to see a level 35 Briarpaw attacking my stupid little cat!</P>

<P>Yeah, I was aboot to say... I tried getting the cat to attack the mobs, and he replied with something along the lines of, "Sorry, Ithryn, but I can't do that."</P> <P>Cure you, Gebarktik! ><  ...and your many other aliases, as well! </P>

When my kitty gets hit by an AoE it usually goes and attacks the mob (for no damage).  But it has saved me a couple of times when this has happened.  The tank died and somehow my cat drew aggro and allowed me to run away.  Poor kitty, not entirely useless. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Well, I didn't think my book was anything interesting till my friend saw it and thought it was cool. The cat the book, they like, the snake, no.So the book has more value in my opinion since it makes others go ooooo.

<DIV>You can buy the flame thing in Qeynos Harbor, I think its the vendor directly south Of the Inn, through an unmarked door.</DIV>
