Does upgrading Tether do anything?

<DIV>I just dinged lvl 33 and got tether.  I bought an adept I version of the spell because it was on the broker for cheap, but the description is the same as the apprentice I version.  is there any benefit to upgrading this spell or should I just re-sell my adept?</DIV>

people say they do, but honestly there's no REAL testing to back it up, and just how do you test it?  It'd be nice if devs gave a response on why we should upgrade roots because I wonder the same thing myself.

<DIV>I have found upgrading roots not only helps lower the resist on high mobs.  It also does more damage (As they all have some DD or DoT to them).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thats what i have found in my levels.  Upgrading frozan manacles to adetp3 and the others to adept1.  I have found it worth while, cause when i want to hold that 50 double up, im glad i upgraded.  Better safe than sorry when the life is on the line, and they have proven to save me a few times.  And better than app1~</DIV>
