<DIV>All through levels 23 and 24 (since that patch that bumped up wizards dps) I have been consistently getting 250, 275, 290, 330, even 350 damage, usually using HO but even without the HO the high 250's was pretty common.</DIV> <DIV>Now, if I did HO on a mob and finished it with a mastery spell it cranked it up even farther.  I am not mistaken nor lying, check with other wizards.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now, last night after the patch I went to Thundering Steppes, got a group, started cranking out my DD's and I don't think it ever went over 200, even with an HO and a skeleton mastery to finish it.</DIV> <DIV>Tried again and again, no good, will not do the damage it has been doing.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Checked with my brother-in law who plays a 33 Conjurer, he says his Volatile Refuge can only be cast on his pet OR himself, not both anymore, and not doing the damage absorbtion anymore, also not mentioned in the patch.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Stealth nerfing is nothing new for Sony, but I am looking for confirmation from other wizards to see if they are seeing the same things I did last night.  If not, maybe I am doing something wrong?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<P>Right click the spell and examine it, that should tell you the theoretical max damage for that spell. It could be that the particular mobs you were facing have increased resists, or that you were'nt fully debuffing them maybe.</P> <P>At 33 everyhing seems the same as it was to me, but we are probably only using one spell that is the same, Ice spike.</P>

<div></div>i havent had any problem wih damage, im still hitting for 550-650 with BoFire at 35. three things i have noticed changes with though: -the speed debuff on teather is only applied at the end of the full duration not when it breaks as it should. -when i cast spells i randomly get the mezzing animation on me (rainbow thing). ive noticed it with teather, call of qeynos and something else (i cant remember what it was). i initially thought it was a new animation but it only happened with once with certain spells. -on a plus note though blazing intimidation has a new animation. similar casing to blaze with gold particles and it fires a rotating hammer at the target which explodes on impact (borrowed from a priest spell). <div></div><p>Message Edited by adamflanagan on <span class=date_text>03-22-2005</span> <span class=time_text>09:40 PM</span>
