<DIV>I apologize for posting this in this forum...i couldn't find any forum that made sense, but since i'm a wizzie, here it is :smileywink:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>does anyone know what the impact on the group is if i join a lower-level group and mentor anyone...i think the bottom-line question is: do i need to tell the group when i join that i'm going to mentor someone?...from what i understand, mentoring will allow me to do quests that i have not yet done and will reduce my skills to the appropriate level...so i'm not *really* mentoring anyone...i just want to join in the quest</DIV>

There is no adverse effect on the group. In fact, at least one person will get a little extra experience from. The only thing that will suffer are your skills, but in so far as the group is concerned it will be no different having you in group than another wizard/sorceror of the same level. But yeah. I would tell them. Always fun to let them fight over who gets the experience bonus. <div></div>

Yup shouldn't be any issues with you mentoring. My only advice would be to make sure you mentor someone who is a lower level than the main tank. It will help them keep aggro a bit better.
