<DIV> <DIV> Ok i finally figured something out..if you already know this then there's no need to call me a noob, i've already done that, so you calling me one just wouldn't be funny. :smileywink:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>At level 39 i have 2 spells that "break animation" ...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Tether! When Tether's root wears off (or if it takes damage from anything, including a dot tick) you cast the additional 4 second movement impairment (another 4 second root that gets tacked on when root expires) that is just another set of chains, except it lasts for 4 seconds. That additional movement impairment is throw on by you even if you're in the middle of casting something long like Heat Stroke. Now you'll keep casting Heat Stroke while you throw that impairment on, but you won't see the animation for Heat Stroke AND you won't see the bar that shows you much longer till current spell is done being cast. I don't like it... i think they could fix it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The other spell is Heat Stroke! It too has an animation breaker! That little 5% chance to Stifle a target? It works haha! I had no idea what was going on for a few weeks, but then i got it.... o.O .... Ever notice after casting Heat Stroke on some larger caaster types that while you're casting other spells you'll go into that whole hand pushing animation, like you're throwing quick spells at him you didn't ask him to? That little "whiizzzz!" sounding spell?! Thats you putting Stifle's in there!! But! It takes away animation of whatever you're currently casting AND the casting bar.....again....i'm not likin this. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It's just not enough to make me guess sometimes, and i don't like "guessing" when my lively hood depends on knowing what spells are available to me and when. 3 seconds left on casting something can make a HUGE difference when selecting my next move.....i wish this minor animation problem would be fixed.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>What say you?</DIV></DIV><p>Message Edited by Kilferf 'Uhn on <span class=date_text>03-14-2005</span> <span class=time_text>11:38 AM</span>

Yeah, I noticed that about Heat stroke myself. I sort of look at as a visual clue to what is happening.

<DIV>Yeah i heard they put in text that'll tell us when the stifle actually goes off, but honestly man i only look at numbers over his head so there's no way i'll catch the text saying "blah blah stifled" ya know? But now i finally figured out what was going on, and it's awesome. I'll tell ya this much, that 5% chance for stifle is nice cuz i hear it going off alot! (i use it to pull, with that uber 12980123 mile range on it)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>but uhh yeah........i'd really like my spell bar to stay up, i could deal with the broken animation, but when it breaks my casting animation for *insert any spell here, cuz they all save my life in one way or another* AND it takes away the spell bar......ugh. Ya know i actually get nervous sometimes? </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>One bad move and i have to rotate my spell list accordingly, on the fly.....it's like throwing a blanket over my windshield, for just a few seconds.....ARG... I'm doing 180 MPH please don't do that, i can't see. And thas what it feels like lol. :smileysad:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Edit: check out your tether too Stave, it has helped me tremendously now that i can not only see (and not via the new text messages either.....although it was a nice gesture by SoE lol) that last 4 second root get thrown, but i can HEAR it. When Heat Strokes Stifle goes off and when Tether's last 4 second additional root gets thrown down, even though they both have different audio sounds for them, but they BOTH do that little half cast followed by a screaming fast cast. I do <EM>not</EM> know how to explain that, but if you've followed me this far you should be able to grasp what i'm trying to describe lol. <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <P><SPAN class=time_text></SPAN> </P><p>Message Edited by Kilferf 'Uhn on <span class=date_text>03-14-2005</span> <span class=time_text>03:42 PM</span>
